Community Outreach
SDG&E is committed to providing clear, accessible ways for community members to learn about Golden Pacific Powerlink and offer feedback. Our outreach approach focuses on sharing timely, easy-to-understand information and offering multiple ways to connect with the project development team.
Through community meetings, briefings with local organizations, online resources and direct conversations, we aim to support an open and transparent dialogue so people know where to go with questions, provide input, and how to stay informed as the project moves forward.

Golden Pacific Powerlink Survey
Golden Pacific Powerlink is a project being developed by San Diego Gas & Electric® (SDG&E®) and is a proposed 500-kilovolt electric transmission line designed to strengthen California’s regional power network and maintain future reliability as the state meets it energy policy goals. The need for the policy-driven project was identified by the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), the state’s independent transmission planning authority, as critical new infrastructure needed to reduce congestion, meet the state’s energy goals, and enhance the flow of electricity on the statewide grid.
